This is absolutely the best show ever made. I say this with no small amount of television viewing under my belt. The remote's buttons are all worn down but I never touched it when Firefly was on. If you haven't seen it, bring some joy and love into your life with this show. If it wasn't for Joss Whedon, I would have stopped watching television a long time ago. Nothing compares these days. |

Best show out there. One of its kind , you will never see a T.V show like this EVER. you should watch this at least once in your life time and you will understand what im saying. if fox didn't fk the show by playing it out of order we would be watching the 7th season right now :) |

This show is absolutely amazing. From the script to the acting to the musical score it's completely "shiny". My sister had the DVD's containing the whole series- and I couldn't stop myself from watching all 14 episodes within the span of 3 days- they're so hard to stop watching. You will not regret watching this show if you choose to do so (which you should!) |

It was and still is a shame that this show was dropped. Even more so that it was set up to fail. I hope that if fans keep at it we can make it worth while to the powers that be. |

This is the best television story of all time with well thought out characters, excellenty planned time lines and superbly written scripts. It's too bad this show wasn't given a chance to reach maturity. Please bring back Firefly. |

Dear Joss,cast,and crew, Thank you for this masterpiece. Wish Firefly had lasted longer, but 'my own self' and them that's close to me are thankful for the 'waves' of family, friends, and freedom that you all bounced our way via Firefly and Serenity. |

This show is exceptional on so many levels. Anyone can jump in and watch (from any point as it turns out from the way it was aired during its incomplete first and only season). It has action, drama, humor, deep commentary on every aspect of life. All of these things exist in some form or another in most television (sci-fi in particular), however, the particular recipe that is Firefly/Serenity happens to have a flavor unlike anything else. Everyone I have talked to about the show had either already seen/owned it, or would after our discussion. In fact, I took a buddy of mine, who had never even heard of the show, to a viewing of the documentary about the Browncoat support of the Series, and he became an immediate fan, simply based on what he saw of the people involved, and the few brief quotes and clips from the show. This is a true testament to the universality of this masterpiece, and it is why this show will go down in the annals of Sci-Fi as one of the greatest to ever be produced. |

Hands down the best sci fi show I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. It's a terrible shame it was cancelled before it had a chance to show the world its excellence. It had the best cast and one of the most original storylines that has ever been created for television, and subsequently the silver screen. It is a masterpiece. |

The cast was one of the best ever assembled. The stories were great. Serenity (the ship) felt like another character. It wasn't the prettiest ship in Sci-Fi, but is was the most home like, and it had more character than either the Enterprise or the Falcon. Nathan Fillion as Captain Malcolm Reynolds, was a better Han Solo, than Han himself. The rest of the cast was equally lovable, and the women in the cast were some of the most beautiful ladies on television. This is a show that deserved better treatment, and some smart network exec should wake up and restart this show again! |

It was a crime this show got cancelled before the story got a chance to develope. The dialog was hysterical and the character portrayal excellent. There were no weak links in the ensemble or supporting/visiting cast. |

You know the funny thing? Look at all of the polls of these TV shows on the air today. Look them up on the web. You'll find Firefly, a show with a total of 13 episodes and cancelled over 6 years ago, consistently hits number 1 in the popularity charts. The network execs need to wake up and realize that has been a HUGE subsequent post-mortem following of this wonderful show. BRING BACK THE FIREFLY! |

This is one of if not the best and in my and many others view "realistic" scifi shows this genre has to offer. It is character driven, and rings close to home for many of us. I hope that the networks can come to their senses and allow the story to continue |

I'm a fan of many sci-fi films and TV series. Firefly ranks EASILY as one of my favorites. I love the characters, the stories and imagery of this series (as well as the movie). Joss Whedon created a world unlike any other in the genre. WELL DONE!!! |

i love joss whedon's shows but when someone told me to watch a sci-fi western set in the future with chinese influences, i thought they were medically insane. i soon discovered that firefly was one of my favorites. keep up the work joss whedon! |

Almost anyone who has ever seen Firefly will agree that it is one of the most incredible series TV has ever seen. Personally I have purchased the first season of Firefly 7 times due to friends buying my copy after I twisted their arm to make them watch it. |

An amazing ensemble cast in an off-beat future setting highlighted by Joss Whedon's storytelling skills. F*X did the genre a disservice by sabotaging and then deep-sixing this gem of a show. Even now, the legion of Firefly fans continues to grow, despite the fact than no new episodes have aired in 6 years, and no no movies have screened in 3. |

This is one of the best TV shows ever on. Sure Star Trek was good but did it seem real outside the ship? No way! This one was well done, high tech, the premise great, the humor on the mark, action, drama, morals, ethics, charm. the characters and actors were great, and I miss them. What? Does Fox just play darts to decide what it shows? Now, except for House Fox has nothing. Nada |

Firefly was one of the best shows I've ever seen on TV. After I got the DVD's it was officially my favorite. Then the movie Serenity came out and I'm officially in love. If you like Sci-fi at all, you'll find that this is the one of the best shows that have ever been made. Too bad Fox sucked and never advertised it so hardly anyone watched. A shame... at least the movie was fantastic and lived up to the standards set by the show.
The characters are perfect, the special effects are actually believable, and the dialouge is superb. Gotta love it. |

Great show, but it was short lived on FOX because it's pretty hardcore sci-fi and most can't get beyond that and find that it has excellent writing and fair acting. |

Firefly is an amazing show and everyone at FOX should be fired for taking it off the air. Tehe movie Serenity is basically the planned second season of the show (the series only lasted 14 episodes) and is amazing. Buy the complete series on DVD right now. You will not be disappointed. |
